7-Week Bible Study
I’ve got peace like a river in my soul!
We all have experiences that threaten to deplete our peace. A last-minute notice that we need to drop everything and deal with an unplanned emergency. Waiting to see if bad news gets better. Feeling misunderstood. So many peace robbers! But thankfully, we have a ready supply of peace available to us. Where do we find it, and how can we be an instrument of peace to others?
Kathy Carlton Willis learned how to soak in God’s peace during the many trials and waiting rooms in her life. It didn’t come naturally to her (still doesn’t!), but now she knows how to access it. She is beginning to recognize warning signs when her peace supply runs low and can fill back up before her peace tank is on empty.
Now she’s here to share these principles with you in The Grin Gal’s Guide to Peace.
In each chapter:
- Grin with Peace tells real-life stories and observations. You’ll laugh at Kathy’s humorous confessions and relate to her transparent honesty.
- Grow with Peace features a peace word study and workbook. Explore what the Bible says and unpack timely truths.
- Go with Peace offers life application. Pick the action steps that help you live a peace-filled life.
- Give with Peace equips you to share peace and meet the needs of others. This is when faith becomes ministry.
- Your Grin-with-Peace Challenge describes a peace-challenging scenario to solve.
Reader Reviews
Such a great book! The way the chapters are divided makes following along so easy—there are personal stories, Scripture study, practical application, ways to help others, and hypothetical questions to get your mind thinking about ways to apply what you’ve learned. Each chapter also has insightful questions that would be great for a book club or group study, but also work if you’re going through the book on your own. I really appreciated all of the solid Scriptural truth about really finding God’s abiding peace. I highly, highly recommend this book as an excellent study on true peace.
